Role Overview
As a Broadcast Network Engineer at DMC Production, your role will encompass a diverse array of responsibilities primarily based in the Netherlands, with additional involvement in our operations across Norway, Sweden, and Finland. You will take the lead in shaping our network architecture, designing and deploying various network solutions, maintaining private peerings with media partners, collaborating with data centers, vendors, partners, and broadcast teams, and ensuring the operation and maintenance of DMC’s media networks.
Who we seek
We are seeking a talented network engineer with the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering.
- Proficiency in TCP/IP networking principles.
- Hands-on experience with fiber cabling and optics.
- Strong competence in Routing and Switching.
- Knowledge of multicast communication.
- Proficiency in Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
- Familiarity with L2VPN and L3VPN technologies.
- Understanding of MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
