DMC Production is a media production company specializing in providing a variety of broadcast and digital services to broadcasters, sports federations and media rights agencies around the world.
Using the latest technology for remote production, we offer high-end, live, multi-camera production. By centralizing key staff and exclusive hardware, we optimize workflows, saving costs, decreasing traveling and transport thereby minimizing the climate footprint.
We are building a modern, high-end, production center in Oslo that is designed to manage twelve multi-camera events simultaneously. The center hosts MCR, camera control, and live galleries, including super-slomo. We use the latest technology from Riedel, Grass Valley, EVS and Simplylive, who are all leading providers in the broadcast industry.
The position
With content like the Norwegian elite football, ice hockey, handball among others, DMC will produce the best Norwegian sports every day of the week. We will produce more than 700 live events per year to TV 2’s liner-tv and play-channels. In addition, and in partnership with TV2 Norway and the Norwegian Football Federation, DMC will provide a centralized VAR setup featuring eight video operation rooms (VOR) where referees/VAR/AVAR will review all Eliteserien matches. To our Broadcast center in Oslo, we are looking for new talents to our MCR and technical infrastructure in Oslo.
As a broadcast engineer within DMC, you will be managing our MCR (Master Control Room) on a day-to-day basis. The work includes maintenance and preparation for the daily productions as well support and develop the ever-growing infrastructure.
The position also give the opportunity to learn and operate DMC’s 15 camera UHD OB-truck that will be used for production in Norway as well as in the Nordics.
The position is full-time and based in Oslo.

Ideal candidates also meet the following requirements
- Fluent in Norwegian and/or Scandinavian language and English
- Service oriented and flexible
- You are used to working with defined deadlines.
- You have knowledge of IT hardware
- Experience from TV production and knowledge of broadcast signals and formats
- Knowledge of various audio and video production systems (software and hardware based)
- Ability to solve challenges under stress
Bonus requirements that will make you stand out from the rest:
- Experience from working with and understanding live sport
- You are familiar with networks and the respective protocols such as IGMP, spanning tree, PTP, Multicast, MLAG, etc.
- You know production and transmission protocols such as RTMP, SRT, NDI, Dante, AES67, etc.
